Yeah you did make sense. You're probably right -- experiencing things for one's self doesn't necessarily translate to expecting them elsewhere. I think it's cool that Sam never again questioned Dean's natural companionship with children, like in Something Wicked, when he was all about helping Michael and trying to make him understand, etc.
Oh, man. Don't even imply that to me. I would give my left leg to hop in there and be "Dean's woman"! *laughs* I think I could deal though. He'd probably end up playing some other fiddle too, considering my family. I get the whole Family First thing. Cars...well...I'd deal. As long as he took his shirt off while washing it, we'd be a-ok.
Sure, Dean thought she was great and fell for her, etc. But I felt like she was one of those girls who has more drive than any real idea of how to accomplish her goals, was far too pushy when it came to those goals, and then made the whole break-up seem like Dean's fault even while admitting that it was hers. She was one of those people that doesn't like to take the blame for anything and so forces it on someone else. Even the little "Don't leave the house." "Don't go getting all authoritative on me, I hate it." scene sort of grated on me. She asked him what she should do, he told her, and then she (laughingly, yes, but still seriously) told him not to tell her what to do... She called him to help her get rid of a ghost, then told him she still didn't believe in the ghost stuff... She was very VERY contradictory and all over the place. It boggled my mind.
Yeah I know most people want a "normal" partner, but she even said she was looking for a reason to bow out and he'd pretty much handed it to her on a silver platter. I mean, fine. If she'd dumped him because she thought he was a nutjob, okay. But she'd used it to dump him when she'd already decided to? And then she led him to believe there was some hope for them, rekindled the relationship and...told him there was no hope. o.O
I guess "hate" would be a strong word. They're just characters after all. But when it comes to the girls who've been on the show I've disliked Cassie and Jo, and wasn't very fond of Madison.

whoo...shallowness, coming through!!!!
i love Dean's ADD....like in TUS, and Sam's tryin' to be hacker boy....Dean's bored as all get out....hahaha...it's great! and in Hell House, with the spoon... it just makes him more real of a character.
and though everyone's probably tired of hearing it...Dean's mom-with-a-shotgun routine will always have a special place in my heart. like in Home....well, okay, pretty much every episode....but i love it!! it's hilarious, heart-wrenching, and in all, just awesome! _________________ "College boy, thinks he's so smaht!!"

I love everything about Dean. He has a lot of the characteristics that my hubby has. Every time I hear Dean's voice I melt. I actually cried when Dean got killed and taken to Hell.
