Thanks for all the websites, Sarah. I'm going to check them out the first chance I get. |
It's not that you guys are dinosaurs or out of the loop. It's that I've been in fandom for six years and am a total geek about it. It was easy for me to find everything in the SN fandom because I was already sort of in the middle of it when it started -- a lot of my friends list on LJ suddenly became SN fans and BOOM a whole new fandom opened up right before me! It's so easy to find everything else fandomy when your homebase is LJ.

Me too. My family has a group of cottages a bit further north and we have a pool at home, and for some reason (despite being really fair) I tan really well. But constant tanning + make-up...it gives them the look we call "Q Girls" here at Queen's. The ones who tan and wax and straighten and pamper and wear an ensemble of tights, Uggs and jackets with fur linings. *shudders*

It's really simple why everyone loves Jensen. The most obvious is, he is by far thee most gorgeous face on television! I don't get why he's so bashfull about being a sexy piece eye candy, I mean give me a break , he was a model before he became an actor. He obviously knows that he's hot. Ya know? Second, he has this remarkable talent as an actor to seek out that perfect characture and bring him to life. Every role he's done, he's played it with such passion and force. He even made a bad scripted movie (Devour) worth watching. Third, Jensen has that potential to take his career to higher levels if he wanted to. Hell, his former co-star Jessica Alba had the same potential and look at her now. An A list celebrity, but still very true to herself.
And basically, I love Jensen because he's the smoldering voice in my head and the ruged figure in my dreams. |

That's Paley, in case you haven't seen it.
They talk about the bees on there too. But Jensen repeats it during the Megan show and she keeps cutting him off in the middle and stuff and he keeps looking at her like "just let me finish". And he just babbles away. I think it was almost a way to dissuade her from asking more personal questions. After all, the story touches on his friendship with Jared, their great relationship with the directors, the kind of stunts they have to do, how long their days are, etc. So it's like an all-encompassing answer. |
It doesn't work for me. Well, actually, it NEVER works for me. I'd love to have the Paley festival Q&A and JK interview downloaded on my comp but I can NEVER download them from any site anyone has provided. _________________

And you can't watch it on YouTube either, Monika? Ah! A true tragedy. |

No no, I've already seen both of them - Paley and JK. I just want to have them on my comp in a good quality. And I HAVE THEM NOW!!!
Patience brings roses... That's a proverb we use in our country. Just because I teach English, is there any English proverb with a similar meaning???
And I quite hate YouTube because of the low video quality. _________________

Well there's "Patience is a virtue" and "Good things come to those who wait".
YouTube can be frustrating, yes, but sometimes people have fairly good quality vids up for our viewing pleasure! Paley is there in multiple parts, as well as various other interviews with the two boys. |

Yes, Vampy, it does make me feel better! No, wait, that didn't sound right! I meant, um, I'm sorry you have your own techno/out-of-the-loop problems too but at least I'm glad not to be the only one here who does! Er . . . did that make sense or was I just chewing on my foot?!! I just meant it's nice not to feel alone in the situation! Argh! Lol!
Sarah could've worded that so much better! Ask her for a translation if you need one! _________________ "Decapitations aren't my idea of a good time, I guess." --Sammy, "Bloodlust" |

Ummmmmmm. I don't think so. The only places I know of are YouTube and that one link I provided somewhere else. You might be able to buy it somewhere, possibly off the Paley website. It used to come with the first season DVD set when it first came out.
