If it makes you feel any better my baby sister tried to "upgrade" our phones and ended up killing our sim cards, so I can't use my phone at all until I get the new one in the mail... Even then I don't know if everything's going to be turned on.

Yep I did see it, and the poster is a manip, but then again you have to think about whether or not they have actually had time to make one or rehearse even. They are selling tickets though, so if I brought tix and it wasnt true, how pissed would I be? *shrugs* I guess we will have to wait and see..... but Jensen in a uniform *thuds*

Jensen should play Daniel Kaffee, the young inexperienced lawyer, played by Tom Cruise in the movie! Man, can you imagine Jensen playing in the movie? It would be GREAT! I liked the movie. It was really good. But I'm pretty sure Jensen will outplay and outshine Mr Cruise. Well, it wouldn't be such a surprise cos Cruise can play but must have a director who forces him to play. Jensen's just great.

But one thing is certain: theatre actors get more recognition than TV show actors, no matter what performances the latter deliver in TV shows. So I think it's a brilliant idea to accept a role in a play. What was interesting was what I read in those articles. Jensen's described there as "one of Hollywood's rising leading men" and that he "accepted" the role, so looks like he was offered the role.

So maybe he finally has his big break-through. I was really surprised when reading on CW that one fan has a friend who works in showbusiness and her friend said she can see Jensen auditioning for movie roles really often but that they usually see him only as a pretty boy, not an actor. Looks like he wants to play in movies but isn't lucky. And I love Dean but Jensen shouldn't get stuck with him.

I understand where you're going and such, but its the nature of showbiz. Either people like you because you are great, or they like you because you are pretty. Some actors today dont even have half the talent Jensen does, but yet they are in movies alot, just because little girls like them and are willing to pay money to see them. No matter how many movies you do, or how much the movie makes in the box office, you cant buy talent and thats what sucks. If I go back to all the teen movies ever made, and replace the leading man with Jensen, I would imagine that the movie would be that one step higher. Although I am happy for him to be working, but I dont think a play was the right way to go, people will be comparing him or his character to that of the same one that Tom Cruise played. I just hope that he doesnt wear himself out, because when Season three of Supernatural starts it'll be the same as this season. No sleep and they end up tired.

Unfortunately, Hollywood's a very shallow place. You're right that good looks is usually enough to become a star there. But then, why the hell isn't Jensen on Hollywood's A-list already? Talent+good looks+charisma=star potential. And I wouldn't worry too much about Jensen being compared to Tom. Tom should worry cos he's a star but doesn't have Jensen's talent. And the play's on only 1 week.

I tend to get a tiny bit talkative when it comes to Jensen
I know the play only goes for one week, but have you ever done a play. Its alot of rehearsing, then several dress rehearsals, then the show, then rehearsing again. And on the weekend they actually do two shows *shrugs*, and I know that I want to tire him out, but not like it ever gonna happen , I can wish though right *sighs*
So you flying to Van next year are you? With the GG, or on your own and then meeting the rest of us? I've been checking prices for me to fly, and its gonna cost me $2500 just for flights , I tell you, it so better be worth it
Oh and at the moment, I'm trying to make a new header for my LiveJournal... and the time is 6:48 pm

And you know, some of his decisions may seem silly to you but you don't know everything he knows, so... *shrugs* You can't know whether he does st as a favour for sb or b/c doing a specific project will bring him another one. Showbusiness is such a bitch. IMO Jensen's handling it so well. None of us can really judge his decisions. Just wish him luck.

I've never really watched DC. I've seen some epis *shrugs* but Jensen was there just another pretty boy to me (I didn't know him at that time). NO! No Tom Cruise! He's a star, sure but he's such a jerk. And he's not such a good actor either and he's weird! But he's definitely a star. Which is sad. We want stars like Jensen, right? Damn talented, smart, funny, kind and smoking hot!
