Season 3 - What would have happened if not for the strike?Welllll...
According to Jared Padalecki and a small fan-run Q&A at the Fangoria convention in Texas about a week ago, if the writers' strike hadn't happened, we would have seen an acceleration in Sam's powers.
What say you?

Acceleration? I didn't even know he had powers anymore; Sam said he didn't and we haven't seen him use any. So, color me confused!

Yeah, I've been on the "not so sure about that" bandwagon since he first said they were gone this season. Turns out, they're going to be coming back bigger and badder than ever!

Ooh, fun times! I never liked that they just disappeared. Didn't seem to ring true. So, are you thinking Sammy's been lying (cuz that would shock me, as he's seemed totally honest about it and you'd think they'd have shown us, the audience, if he was still experiencing them) or that they did leave (or go into dormancy) but will come back/revive? I need to revisit Spoiler Town, obviously.

It seems to me that they went dormant. I'm guessing that with all the shit that's gonna go down, Sam ends up accessing them again and this time, he uses them. That's the impression I've gotten, anyway.
