You're more than welcome!
HA! HAHAHA! *so amused*
Duuuuude. Way to vent that RAGE. I agree that she is extremely annoying. And the way she tries to sound like a teenage girl grates on my nerves. The only reason I read her column or watch her interviews is she seems to be the one reporter who gets to talk to the boys pretty often. That impression she did at the Paley Festival of the crying girls? I loved Jensen's expression which was like "wtf lady?" And yes, it drives me nuts that she's all "Supernatural is going to be cancelled! Lalala!" I want to throw something at her. Rotten tomatos, maybe.

Haha! I loved the interview she did with Jensen, his facial expressions at her questions and actions were freaking awesome! He looked so uncomfortable throughout the whole thing. I felt bad for him being interviewed like that but on the other hand it gave me a good laugh!

Would you? |
Hell no. But Jo made me want to jump through the screen and scratch her eyes out. I much prefered her in BUaBS. She made me hate No Exit, though.

And then Jared came along and Jensen reached out and touched him, and suddenly relaxed and lit up all at once. Those two are ADORABLE together. It's so obvious that Jared sort of grounds Jensen when he's nervous in front of crowds.

Yeah, I forget exactly when it was, but there was another time someone was mentioning that Jensen was CLEARLY being overwhelmed by the fans and stuff (not that they were mobbing him but him just being shy and all), and he sees Jared and the person there could visibly see him relax. It is just TOO CUTE to hear about this stuff. They really are adorable.

oh yes, and i DO feel better about getting that out about Kristin - it's amazing what venting can do for a girl!

Yeah somebody was talking about that on LJ, I remember. And it made me fuzzy to read it. XD Poor Jensen. It's stories like this that make me want to thwap those silly screaming, crying girls.

Letting the tension build up is unhealthy. *nods wisely* We must must keep ourselves on an even ground. Er. Or something.

As for Jensen... I think he's not really uncomfortable when interviewed alone as long as the interviewer doesn't have some too personal questions. He's just all professional and a bit impersonal but still funny and kind.
|
Kitty

As for interviews, in the ones I have seen anyway, JA seems pretty uncomfortable (although hardly surprising given the inane questions he seems to be asked).

That's the thing I really don't understand, how such a good actor and good man can be soo shy or whatever he is. He should more express himself or he will get a really good role in a "big" film.
|
Kitty
|
If he is shy, then he is shy, there's nothing you can do to change that (I speak as a chronic shy person). All he can do is mask it as much as possible. Hopefully his exceptional acting talent will speak for itself - after all, that is far more important than his ability to bullshit largely moronic interviewers...

Veru, I think it's more about modesty at Jensen than shyness though he IS shy. I think he just can't understand why there's so much fuss about him. I think he knows he's good at acting and that he looks good but there are more people like this, so maybe that's why he seems so stunned by all that ado about him. And he likes his privacy, so he dislikes nosy stuff.
|
Kitty
|
Husitka, why do you think he is stunned? He has been in the business for quite a while now - clearly he knows that his looks are an issue, whether he likes it or not (plus, he would be a fool to think it didn't help in certain circumstances). I don't know the guy at all, but he doesn't come across as stupid or naive.
I would like to see him interviewed by an intelligent interviewer, asking interesting questions about his current work, plans and hopes for the future. I am not against the odd quirky question, but really, I couldn't care less what he does or does not do with his eyelashes for instance!
|
Husitka
|
Kitty, I meant he always looks surprised when somebody mentions his looks. I never said he's stupid or naive, I think he's very intelligent imo. I was just reacting to Veru's post - how come such a good actor and such a good man can be so shy. I just said I think it's more about his modesty than shyness though he is shy. And I'm with you as for the interviews!
|
Husitka
|
And just for the record: I'm posting from my mobile now, so my posts can't be so long because I can only post a certain number of signs.
And yes, I bet Jensen's looks helped him sometimes too but I still think it's more of a curse for him because if he wasn't as handsome, there wouldn't be such stupid interviews just about his looks but more about his acting and work.
|
Kitty
|
Oh hey! Sorry Husitka! I didn't mean to imply you thought he was stupid! I definitely agree with you that it does seem to be natural modesty on his part. Which, let's face it, is a rare commodity among actors! Maybe having a dad as an actor has helped him keep a sense of perspective about it all?
Yes, wouldn't it be brilliant to see him have an intelligent conversation with an interviewer? I bet he would be much more relaxed being asked sensible, interesting questions (and some humourous ones too). Because clearly, he has a sense of humour as well!

Who's pissed off at Kristin's stupid poll results?
Right now it is said that we're sitting in 4th at 7% of the votes (despite the fact that we all voted crazily!), that Gilmore Girls (which will either be cancelled because of Alexis Bledel's desire to leave or renewed for another season and thus shouldn't have been on the list) won at 37% of the votes, that Veronica Mars (who thinks Kristin the Veronica Lover rigged this?) came in 2nd at 33% and that One Tree Hill (I'm sorry but SRSLY?) came in 3rd with 14%.
Personally I don't think this poll should be counted. Everyone knows all the fans cheated spectacularly. And now GILMORE GIRLS is going to get promoted because stupid fans who don't read the right blogs don't know that their cancellation won't be because of the lack of ratings and fan support? And, of course, if it DOES get cancelled, Veronica Mars will get promoted? alsfkj;sldkfjsdlkfj Stupid Kristin. She so rigged that. *hates on*

But this poll is not what the networks use to decide whether a series is cancelled or not, surely? Certainly the whole thing seems to be rigged and pointless... am I missing something though??

No it's not what decides. But it's what decides which show will get E!'s advertisment. The whole thing is a competition to see who they'll give a promotional deal to. Pffft.
|
Kitty
|
Forgive my ignorance on the subject, but so I take it E! is a big deal in the US then?
|
Sarah
|
I wouldn't know. But E! does air entertainment news, and does have the money to advertise. So if it endorses a show... you know? It's all about promotion, which Supernatural could really use.
|
Kitty
|
Hm, well if this Kristin is as biased as it seems, there's nothing much to be done about it then... annoying though that is. There must be other avenues for promotion in the US? (I hope!) I vote for everything SN, because if it doesn't succeed there, it won't get across the pond! Unthinkable!

Eh, E online could have offered some promotion for the show yes, which is why the majority of us were voting. It probably would have been only a one time article thing though, talking about how whatever show won.. Won. I don't think we'd be losing out on much promotion wise. If we can get over the frustration of voter defeat! =)
