Jared cracks me upRight, so, you may know I have dial-up, so surfing isn't as easy for me, so there's a lot of stuff the rest of you know about Supernatural, Jensen and Jared that I don't. And stuff that I learn, but later than the rest, so everyone here probably has already read this, but I happened upon this the other night. Someone was interviewing Jared:Do you believe in the supernatural or extraterrestrial life? "I do. I've never had any personal experiences, but it's a big world, and it's hard to believe we're the only things around. I'm sure there are other people like us, or a bizzarro Earth. I'm sure a lot of it is scary." Huh?! bizarro Earth? And he's sure a lot of it is scary?!  (By the way, except for the "bizarro Earth/scary" stuff, I agree with Jared. And I *have* had experiences. I think, though, that science could explain them. And maybe they will, someday. If they are willing to waste time by figuring out what scent turns a man on [cinnamon rolls. I kid you not, people. Hey, thanks for that important info, scientists! Aren't there diseases out there that need curing?!], then, perhaps, they'll spend some real time on the "supernatural" one day.)
And then there's the whole I-thought-I-was-dead story, which is just hilarious. His "That was gay" comment on the gag reel slays me, too. And let's not forget, he "said do do." Does he normally say stuff like this? If so, I'm sure he keeps his friends/loved ones in stitches! It's like he doesn't take a lot of time to think before he speaks, and this stuff flies out! I love it. May he never change! |

OK, embarrassing confession time:  the "You can't harm me!" scene is one of the cutest things (not just Jared-involving things, but cutest period) I have EVER seen. I have watched it over and over. That boy has the prettiest, goofiest, friendliest smile (and he uses it a lot; you can tell by the deep smile wrinkles he gets when he smiles/laughs), such a goofy laugh, and that scene is just hilarious.
OK, people must quit telling me about this Paley Fest thing, as I don't suppose I'll ever be able to see it (until, maybe, I'm grandma age) and I am jealous!  I bet it is funny! Don't get me wrong, Jensen seems lovely! And smart! And other great things!! But Jared just . . . he seems just so friendly, humble (the boy next door!) and hilariously goofy. I bet he's a lot of fun. Jensen seems more a person you'd want to hang with when you're feeling vulnerable and tired, and just want a quiet presence to hang with and/or someone to talk to. (Nothin' wrong with that!)

AwwWenchy, thanks, but I doubt I'd be able to watch it! Sarah tried to hook me up once (bet the links are still around here somewhere), and I tried to download it, but it was gonna take, like, 8 hrs.! I'm on dial-up, one phone line, so can't manage it! Don't worry, though, I'm sure Ed McMahon is going to show up any day now! Hope you haven't gone to any trouble! If so, I do apologize!
I tell ya, there are some good people around here! All sharing and what-not. Most people awfully QUIET lately, but, good nonetheless! Oh, by the way, did you read the interview where he was asked if he'd rather hang out with Sam or Dean? And he said Dean, and when expounding upon why (after saying he could kick Dean's ass, no less), he went into a sarcastic spiel about what a "buzzkill" it is to be hanging with a buddy who suddenly gets a weird headache and says you have to go find someone 3 states over and save their lives? HA! What's even funnier is I think the interviewer was done with the question and trying to move on, but Jared just steamrolled on! Once Jared starts talking, it's apparently difficult to stop him 'til he's said his piece! Jensen got voted Most Attractive in school; wonder if Jared got voted "Most Outgoing?" Probably should've, if he didn't! Or, at least, "Most Likely Never to Shut Up!" What do ya bet he talks in his sleep?

I'm not at home at the moment; am at a pet-sitting gig that will last until Friday. But when I get home, I'll be glad to look it up! I hope I can find it. The whole interview isn't hilarious, as Jared's interviews can be, but parts of it are. He actually does calm down and be proper and serious(ish) sometimes! |

Finally Saw a Little PaleyI have access, at the moment, to a nice computer (but still dial-up! Took forever, but at least I could do it) so I got to watch a clip from the Paley thing. Why was it called a festival?! I didn't see any festivities! I must've missed something! Anyway, I loved it. I think both guys were adorable in it. Ya know, maybe Jensen and I *could* hang (if I ever made it past being nervous); he's full of sarcastic comments, just like me! ("And we've hated each other ever since.") I loved the "taught teachings" part a lot. And how Jared made something that shouldn't have been funny into something funny (the acting coach bit) and Jensen jumped in and made it funnier.Yep, I see what all the hullaballoo was about now! 
P.S. God, I feel for these guys (and, at least in this regard, other celebs as well, I suppose)! They get asked some damned stupid questions! And, what's worse, they tend to get asked them over and over! And they're just so gracious about it! Come on, people, try thinking before asking them questions! How many times have they been asked the inane question "Have you ever gotten scared on set?" What?! Why would they?! It's a SET! They *know* the plot and what props may be used, etc.! And they're all grown up! Why would they get *scared?!* I think it was so cool of them to each scrabble to find an answer for that (scanty as they were)! They should've just given a look and said, "NO." Poor Js! P.P.S. I know this is Jared's section (which, by the way, we OWN, Wench!) but how ADORABLE was Jensen when he was talking about Dean and said ". . . He's funny!" What an expression! *THUNK* |

The Interview Link, Finally!Sorry it took so long! I've been so tired! And, for the last 3 days, busy! I got 2 six-week-old rescued (from the roadside! They were totally wild.) kittens and they are a handful! Totally adorable, though; I'm lovin' 'em! Haven't raised ones this little since the 90s!
