Do any guys watch this show?!Yeah, yeah, I'm in a posting mood today, sorry! I guess last night's ep. got me amped.
So, anyway, do they?! I don't know any guys that do and all posters on the Web seem to be female!
I know there are two gorgeous guys in it BUT I still think there's plenty there that a guy should like! Consider the following:
Horror, darkness, gore/corpses/monsters, weapons, badassedness (that will be in the dictionary soon  ), the fugitive aspect, fights (both armed and unarmed), brotherly relationship/love, intelligent storyline/plotting AND beautiful women! So, what's not to like? Are guys really THAT threatened by other, good-looking guys?! Does anyone know any guy who watches? WAIT . . . I think some poster on the CW said her son (sounded like a kid or teen) watches. There's that, at least! Anyone else? Guys should watch!

As far as I can tell, there are a few. My friend Jim watches it. I got him into it at school this year, but he hasn't been able to get through season 1 yet, so he hasn't seen any of season 2. And I've seen a few guys around the CW boards, soo...
Also, on places like jumptheshark, etc I've seen quite a few guys sticking up for the show for the very same reasons as the ones you listed! I think guys just tend to frequent online communities a bit less. Especially when they're SO dominated by women.

Good!Good to know that at least some guys do! I am trying to get a guy friend into it. He lives in England. He has only seen the first 2 or 3 eps. and described the show as (get ready!) "OK."  Bah. Brits, what do they know?!! I probably had it set up too high for him, though, praising it so much. I bet if I had acted less enthusiastic about it, he may have liked it better. Anyway, he's got a lot more eps. to go, so it may grow on him yet.
Glad to hear some guys not only watch, but like it enough to defend it! I think all females should recruit any males they know into watching it! (But, of course, you have to do your best to hide the fact that you appreciate the two Js' looks so much. That'll scare them off!) Ladies, you have your mission! (I'm a hermit; I've already recruited the only one in my life at the moment!)

I'm trying for more. It's just so hard to get guys to pay attention to shows long enough. As far as my brother is concerned, I don't think there's enough outrageous swearing and sex scenes. He loves Entourage, but won't sit down and watch all of SN. Sigh.

Well my brother watches it (after considerable nagging from me) and he thinks it is great (see Extra cookie? Some Brits are smart! Still hoping to persuade another brother to view!

Yay!Way to go with the nagging, Kitty!  And, of course I was kidding about the Brit comment! The one I was commenting on is, indeed, my friend! (Of course, we tease each other about our nationalities all the time; we're sarcastic bastards! It's one of the foundations of our friendship. Is that wrong? Heh heh.) Lol, hope you did realize that!  Tell your brother he is cool for watching SN if you haven't already!!!

It is great to have someone to talk to about SN in the real world! The only problem we have is that I am keeping US pace and he is keeping UK pace so I have to be a bit careful about spoilers! The best part is that he has now taken over nagging our other brother to watch! LOL

i got two of my best guy friends to watch....(one even hides behind a pillow at the gore.  ) and i have a college friend who watches with us, but mostly just watches our facial expressions. hahaha...
there's like 5 guys over at the CW boards that watch...so yeah, we have a few fellas...oh, and i'm trying to get my bro to watch. he watched the pilot, so there's hope!!

SO I'LL JUST TELL YOU!
I was at work the other day (I know, I know, I should've said EARLIER) and I was talking about TV shows with this guy I work with, John (who is my age, but a bit antisocial, and who I was trying to find common ground with so he wouldn't be so lonely and silent all the time, haha), and HE LOVES SUPERNATURAL TOO! He pretty much tore apart my brain for any and all information I had about the show, the spoilers, the actors, and the fandom. He finally asked "Okay. I have a question that will prove to me if you are TRULY obsessed with this show. What religion does Meg practise?" And I smirked and answered "She doesn't practise. She's a demon OF the Zorastrian religion." He boggled. IT WAS AWESOME. XD
PS: Just had a thought. Do any of you want specific threads for discussion about specific episodes or anything? I know we tend to have general discussions and reference several episodes in our posts (how happy am I that we all REFERENCE? *braingasms*), but I was just wondering.

I wonder if there'd be more guy fans, also, if more girl fans let the word out that guys who are into Supernatural turn them on? Should that be tried? Heh heh.
The only reason I care is the numbers. The more people watching, the better the ratings, the better the chance of longevity for the show. So, guys, girls, hermaphrodites--I want them all to tune in!!

I think I may have a new convert on my hands at work. Another guy. I was squeeing at work over the renewal and the finale, and he was like "What show?" and then I explained to him that he was not allowed to laugh, because it's the best show on television...and he actually seemed pretty interested by the end of my spiel. XD

Hahaha! And we're keeping the Thursday @ 9pm timeslot. I guess the CW execs have finally realised that no other show could possibly go up against Grey's and CSI. Our show is the strongest, and our fans are the most dedicated!

Hello all. yes there are infact men that watch this show fo rthe most part alot of us dont bother to post on the CW forums because to be honest there are just to many women who whine and complain anytime a somewhat attractive female shows up more than once. Mind you that is why i dont post there at any rate. Personally i think this show is perhaps one of the best TV has to offer and i myself have been following it since the pilot. Any ways great meeting you all looking forward to having stimulating conversations with you all.

We don't blame you. Personally, the CW boards burn my eyes with all the bright colours and flashy advertisements, don't work on a good day and shut my internet down on a bad day, and have a frustrating number of young teens who don't know how to spell and can't formulate a thought more complex than "OMG HAWT!" Soooooo. Totally know what you mean.
