Or should I say Jensen ?
But does anyone else feel it's very realistic? It doesn't feel all faked and forced? Gosh, he's good. I just wanna hug him to make his booboos all better.

| Actually, it is very realistic. I've said more than once that I've been in danger of electrocuting myself trying to jump through the TV to hug him. But yeah, Jensen actually said at Asylum that it's really easy for him to get himself to cry for stuff like that because he's imagining Jared, somebody he really cares about, in that situation. And the episode Heart, I think? Jared was apparently thinking of his dogs dying or something in order to cry like that -- and Jensen admitted that he cried so effectively because he was so upset at the thought of what it would do to Jared if his dogs died. *laughs* They are so adorable. *squishes them* |

Oh I could just squeeze them right thought the screen! That is super sweet. Who says hollywood guys can't be down to earth and sincere. *wub*
How awesome would it be to know these guys IRL? And no, not necessarily to have sex with them (though if I were not married, would be nice) but just to KNOW them. They seem so approachable. _________________ "Love me some pie" |

| They really, really do. Genuinely nice guys who just happen to be pretty wealthy. Heh. If they weren't such workaholics, they'd probably be a lot of fun to hang out with. I think the only way to be friends with them is to be one of the people on set, though. Not that THAT wouldn't be totally awesome. I'm such a geek for that stuff. |

Really?! I knew about Jensen not having trouble with sad scenes because he and Jared are close, but I didn't know about Jared thinking about his dogs! (How insulting is that to poor Jensen?! He thinks about Jared's pain to cry--Jared thinks about his dogs! "Something bad happening to Jensen? Screw that, what if something bad happened to my DOGS?! BOO HOO!" HA HA! I'm just kidding, of course! Jared talks about his dogs a lot. He must be one of those pets-as-kids people--me too! Wonder what kind of dogs and what their names are.) That is so sweet. And hilarious! I wish I could've heard him tell that tale!
And, back to the original topic, YES. Jensen's great at crying; arms go into hugging spasms to see it. (Ooh, with crying powers like that, his parents must have spoiled him rotten!) So is Jared, I must say! He really got me in the finale; Sammy just lost it when he saw Papa John! *Applause* Not that Jensen messed up; I think it's spot-on that he wasn't crying so hard. I think Dean was too shocked and mind-freaked to do much more than stare! His stressed, wrecked brain had just been pushed too far at that point! I think our Dean just sort of blew a fuse! _________________ "Decapitations aren't my idea of a good time, I guess." --Sammy, "Bloodlust" |

Well, Sarah, I've heard st else. Jensen was talking about a scene in CSPWDT (the end scene where Dean tells Sam about his feelings) and he said it's always been hard for him to do these scenes and that he's always appreciated his female colleagues in DOOL b/c they could switch tears on and off at will and that he, on the other hand, must always prepare for such scenes, imagining st bad etc. _________________

I must split my posts b/c I'm posting from my mobile and there's a length limit for 1 post... So I understood Jensen finds these scenes challenging but first of all very difficult to act. He also said that these scenes are extremely exhausting b/c your mind knows you're only acting but your body doesn't and reacts at those scenes as if they were real, i.e. like when you cry yourself to sleep, absolutely exhausted by such a strong emotion. _________________

And he added that they must cry themselves out even 4, 5 or more times sometimes, just to nail the scene. *pats Jensen* Poor baby! We know how much work, effort, heart, sweat and tears you put into each of your characters and that's why you are such a wonderful, fantastic actor and we admire you so much, and Dean of course. *pats her Jensens and Deans clones happily* These are my boys!!! _________________

You're right, Monika, I have heard him say that. I probably should've worded it differently. It's true he's said it's hard for him to cry for scenes like that. But at Asylum he said it's not hard to get himself into a place where he's genuinely upset about what's happening in the scene because he does care about Jared, so he sometimes just takes the "Sam" label off, I guess, and just sees Jared? Heh. Cute.
But yeah, he did say he doesn't like scenes like that because they are emotionally exhausting, and more physically exhausting than stunt scenes, etc because of it. Whereas Jared seems to like the emotional scenes. There was that interview transcript of the two of them talking about how they are different that way. So I don't know...maybe by the time Asylum rolled around, he was having an easier time making himself cry, despite the exhaustion, etc? You'd think it'd get easier with all that pratice, anyway! Poor thing had to get the tears going like a million times this season.
