Does anyone have any idea how I can get rid of the ADS BY GOOGLE at the bottom just above my signature? It's driving me nuts. I'm a computer idiot. Thanks -- VampySix

The ads are a part of the free forum, they'll attach themselves to the last post of any user. So after posting this they should be in my post and not yours.

Edited to add: And they seem to stay attached to the first post when your not logged in. In any case, there's no way to remove them.

Exactly. Sorry about that! In order to make the forum I had to choose a free place, and this was the best one as far as leniency and efficiency went. I just pretend the ads aren't there. Or they're that crap filler at the bottom of lots of forums. Eventually your eyes stop noticing as much. Smile

Okay, cool. I'll just turn off my OCD. Thanks for explaining though. Understanding why makes me feel lots better.

Actually I think, compared to the lurid CW ones, they are pretty reasonable - all things considered!

These ads are a hell of a lot less annoying then many of the ones I've encountered on other free boards.. They flash, they spin, some of them are freaking huge and repeat themselves continually between posts in every thread.. Free delphi forums always hit you with a huge page advert when you go to log in, and then there's a very tiny "decline" link you click on the bottom to get away from it. The adverts here don't bug me at all! Wink
